CCS in Process Industries - Workshop presentations available

On 10-11 March 2015, a joint workshop was arranged by IEA Implementing Agreement IETS, Industrial Energy-Related Technologies and Systems, and IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme. The workshop attracted about 60 participants and included presentations by invited speakers from industry, different government agencies, leading national and international organizations, research institutes and academia. A discussion forum moderated by Simon Bennett from IEA wrapped up the two-day workshop.

The 2013 Annual Report from IETS is now available in the list of Links & publications. The Annual report summarizes the work and progress in the IETS Annexes respectively, and includes sections about the ExCo and other highlights.

Workshop on CCS in Process Industries – State-of-the-Art and Future Opportunities

The Workshop will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, and aims to present an overview to the current state-of-the-art technology in industrial CCS and to improve our understanding to the different challenges in deploying CCS in the oil refining, chemical/petrochemical, and pulp and paper industries.
