In connection to the upcoming IETS ExCo meeting 12-13 November in Vienna, BMIMI and TU Wien will host the event:

Shaping the industrial future – making energy systems more flexible and paving the way for a circular economy – IEA Research Cooperation

The event will give insights in the IETS TCP’s programme and show opportunities for participation. The focus will be on selected national and IEA research projects for a sustainable industrial energy future. From making sector-coupled energy supply more flexible to circular economy strategies – the event will provide insights into the key drivers and barriers to industrial transformation.

Thematic focus is on industrial symbiosis, flexibility, electrification, circular economy and defossilisation.

The session offers a mix of presentations and discussions.
