Making energy systems more flexible and paving the way for a circular economy

The future of industry is flexible, circular, and climate-neutral. But how can we successfully shape this transformation, accelerate the path toward climate neutrality, and overcome practical challenges along the way?
On 11 November, experts from research and industry to presented cutting-edge research projects and exchanged insights on sustainable industrial transformation in a workshop, organised by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI) and TUWien in Vienna. About 40 people from 12 countries participated in the event, preceding the IETS ExCo meeting 12-13 November.
